[:1]I recently tried to edit an existing run kitty run (run kitty run-cascada by spacemonkey) and change the music. I went on to world editor and went to sound editor and then deleted the imported music (cascada) Im pretty nub so i didnt really kno what i was doing but i then imported the song i wanted to play during the game(caramelldansen) and hit "use as music." i then tested the map and for some reason the music doesnt play. can anyone help?|||There's a trigger somewhere in the map that tells the music file to play; you need to replace the instruction to play the old music with your new music.
You might be able to locate this instruction by opening up the Object Manager (F11), click on the Functions tab, search for the Action "Sound - Play Sound", and see what triggers use that action. When you find the action, you need to change it to play the new music.
If they optimized (compressed) the map none of the triggers will probably be visible in the editor, however. This might not be the method the map maker used to play the sound, either. They might have used the Play Music or Set Music List actions in a custom script to set a list of music to play... in this case, you'll just have to search for uses of the "Custom Script" action instead.|||First of all: DON"T use the play sound action. Instead import your music (make sure it's in .wav format). Then go to Action and select Play Music and you should be able to play your music there.
