adding difrent sound to a player

hello,

i am new to map-making and i am busy on making quest right now. This is going quite well but i have a problem: my player looks like a footman but is a hero. I did this by making a custom hero but call him footman and give him that picture. The only problem is that he still talks like the hero did where can i change that to the sound of the footman or my custom sound???

In the object editor, in the list, go down to Sound - Unit sound set

thanks for the reaction but i can't find it. i don't know if it matters but i have reign of chaos so.... I also don't know if you mean the object manager or the unit editor because the object editor doesn't exist, in reign of chaos at least.

vlamer12|||The Object Editor is the upgraded version of the Unit Editor in The Frozen Throne. The primary difference is that the unit editor allows you to modify units and items, while the object editor allows you to modify units, items, doodads/destructibles, abilities, buffs/effects and upgrades.

The unit editor should have the field that Vibon refered to.|||Quote:

Yeah, reign of chaos does not allow you to change the unit sound set with the normal editor.

There are editors that allow you to change the sound set without buying the frozen throne though.

However, the frozen throne editor is far more advanced and I'd suggest you buy it if you can; the frozen throne editor FAR supersedes the ROC editor in nearly every field.|||Quote:

thanks for the reaction's. i think that i am going the frozen throne then. after all it isn't that expensive.
