place walls

Hello,

i am new to editing and making maps but i already know how to make quests and melee maps etc. Now i have the following problem : i don't know how to place walls against each other and against the gate. if i do so there is space between them or the wall is red what means it can't be placed. I really need a way to stop this. I don't have frozen throne only reign of chaos.

Thanks for the reaction but if i do so nothing hapens but i dont mean a natural wall but forr example a stone wall. i can't get them fit

it still doesn't work. If i wasn't clear enough i will explain again. I want to make a castle. but i don't know how to place walls against eigh other because there is space between them or the walls is completly red. I have only reign of chaos. i really need help.
